LED Bulb Prices Decline In China Market In June

According to Digitimes Research, June average retail price for 7W LED Bulbs(equiv. to 40-Watt incandescent bulbs) in the China market decreased 12.1% to CNY34.3 ($5.6), and that 9W LED bulbs (equiv. to 60W incandescent bulbs) declined by 14.5% to CNY33.7.

Digitimes Research indicated that average retail prices for 7W and 9W LED light bulbs in the Japan market in June stood at JPY1795 ($15) and JPY2852 respectively, the former increasing 2% and the latter 0.5%.

Average retail prices for 7W and 9W LED light bulbs in other markets in June were: KRW9974 ($8.9, up 1.5%) and KRW13415 (down 5.4%) in South Korea; $19.6 (down 0.5%) and $18.5 (up 0.5%) in the US; EUR9.9 ($11.2, up 5.3%) and EUR13.0 (down 7.1%) in Europe.
